Click “forgot password?” link from the login screen. You can enter either your user name or your email address, then click“"submit” button to send yourself an email containing a link to reset your password. After following link in that email, you will received another email which contains your new password.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password by selecting "MY PROFILE” from the menu bar at the top of each page. Then select "ACCOUNT”
I registered but I never got the activation e-mail
First check your junk mail folder. Hotmail,Gmail,Yahoo,MSN and other free e-mail services frequently update their spam filters. Then check that you can receive e-mails. We frequently receive notification of failed e-mail delivery because an e-mail address is invalid or the account has exceeded its storage capacity. Before contacting us, test your e-mail address and make sure you can receive messages to the e-mail address specified during the Colombian Introductions sign up process. If you have checked the above and still have not received an activation e-mail then use the "Contact Us" menu option.
Why can't I find someone?
The number one reason people fail for find someone on this site is due to lack of information in their member profile. Far too many people leave profile fields
with their default settings and upload no pictures of themselves. Then they wonder why no one is interested in communicating with them! Members who are reluctant to reveal any details about themselves are viewed with extreme suspicion and ultimately have an unfulfilled experience.
To modify your profile click the “"MY PROFILE” menu option in the menu bar at the top of each page. Complete the fields and try to describe yourself as creatively as possible. Humor is encouraged! When you are finished click the “Submit” button to save your changes. Spend 5 minutes updating your profile today and watch your popularity explode!
I can't change my profile!

How do I change my user name?
Easy! Simply click on "MY PROFILE" on the menu bar at the top of every page. Then click on "ACCOUNT" menu option and you will see a text box called user name.
How do I upload a photo?
A lot of people seem to have difficulty uploading a picture. However, it is a relatively easy process when you know how. The following assumes you have taken a picture with a digital camera and transferred it to your computer:
(1) Click on the "PICTURES" link in the members menu on the top.
(2) Click "ADD PICTURE".
(3) Enter a short description in the "Description" text box.
(4) Click the "Browse" button and locate the picture you want to upload. Use your mouse to navigate the folders on your computer until you reach the folder that contains the picture;
(5) Click on the picture you want to upload and then click the "Open" button to select it;
If the picture contains adult material then mark it as such by selecting "Yes" in the "Is this an adult picture?" drop down box;
Click the "Submit" button.
How do I reduce the size of a photo?
You can upload pictures that are no larger than 500kb. To reduce the size of a picture you need to use an image editing application like GIMP. Large pictures are slow to download and take up unnecessary bandwidth. You can download a FREE image editing application like GIMP
How do I make a photo my main profile photo?
Just click on "PICTURES" from your member menu on the left hand side of each page. You will see your list of pictures. All the pictures will have a little check mark except your primary image. To change your primary image just click the check mark next to the picture you want to use.
How to I enable viewing of adult images?
By default your account is set to warn you when you are about to view an image that is adult rated. You can change this by clicking the "MY PROFILE" menu option and then "SETTINGS" sub menu option.
You can also set a password when uploading an image. Once pictures are password protected, only members you give out the password to can see them. To test this, logout from your account and then search for your user name using the appropriate man/woman search criteria. If you are logged in then you will be able to view all your pictures without a password.
I can't see all my messages
The message counter displays all the messages you have sent and received. When you view your messages you will notice there is an "INBOX" and "SENT" menu option. The combination of messages in these two folders makes up your total message count. When someone replies to a message, the original contents is NOT appended to the end of a message. This makes it difficult to distinguish a reply from a new message.
How do I delete private messages from my Inbox or Sent folder?
To delete private messages, login to your account then select "Messages" menu bar at the top of each page. Then click on the INBOX or SENT folder links and click in the check box next to each message you want to delete. Finally, click the "Delete selected" link at the bottom right of the message list.
Can deleted messages be recovered?
Unfortunately, deleted messages cannot be recovered. Messages are deleted in real time, they are not stored in a trash folder.
The system won't let me send any more messages
With a free account you can:
* Store up to 50 messages in total, including sent messages;
* Send up to 10 messages per day.
If you exceed any combination of these limits then you will not be able to send any further messages. You will need to delete some of your old messages if you have exceeded your storage limit. Upgrade to Gold Membership and these limitations will be removed from your account!
How do I block another member from contacting me?
We cannot take action against members who contact you and are polite, even if you believe their intentions are not genuine. Either ignore the messages and delete them or block them from contacting you. If you receive an unsolicited message requesting contact via an off site e-mail address and/or phone number then
use the "Report abuse" feature of this website to report the violator. In this instance, please copy the contents of message received into the "Report Abuse" form
before submitting it to us. Messages of this nature should be treated with suspicion and we advise you to ignore them and make no attempt to communicate with the sender.
How to block a member:
(1) Search for the user name of the member you want to block and then view their profile.
(2) Click the "Block member" icon (red circle with cross inside) on the left hand side of the page and confirm you want to block the member by clicking the "" button.
Once blocked, a member will be unable to contact you. You can view a list of all blocked members by clicking on the BLACKLISTED" members menu option.
My Profile Photo will not update
Most web browsers cache images to make pages load faster. When an image is updated a browser may not display the new version instantly.
Why am I restricted to 1 search every 5 seconds?
Members with free accounts are limited to a maximum of 1 search every 5 seconds. Gold members have unlimited search capabilities.
How do I cancel my Account?
Click "MY PROFILE" in the menu at the top of the page, then click"ACCOUNT" and finally click the "Delete" button at bottom of page to cancel your account. If you are a paying member, then please also cancel your subscription to our site via your PayPal account. Otherwise, payment will be automatically sent to us at the beginning of each new subscription period.
How can I manage my Account?
This page allows you to edit some basic details of your account on the website. This includes changing user name, email and password and canceling your account. Note that if you modify your email, you will need to reactivate your account. Until then, it will not be visible to other members and may have some other limitations. When changing your password, make sure not to use easy to guess passwords or dictionary words as they can be easily guessed too.
How can I manage My Profile?
A member's profile includes many fields related to different topics which can be used to describe yourself as much as you prefer. Depending on the website settings, you may see profile fields different from default ones. Those marked with a star are required. Other members on the website will usually be able to view your profile unless administrator disallows this permission or limits which of the details are public and which are private.
What are my Settings?
Here you can specify some of the settings related strictly to your account. You may change language to your preferred ones. You can specify if you would like to be warned when members have adult pictures in their profiles if they are enabled. You can set all comments left in your guestbook to be automatically approved. Alternatively you can specify that you would like to approve them manually.

view all the audio files uploaded by you. Each audio file contains a brief description and a few links that allow you to perform different actions with it. You can also quickly see the rating of your audio files if it is enabled. Click add audio file" to select an audio file of your choice and type in a brief description. If you are interested in getting your audio file rated by other members, you can easily allow it for rating by selecting an appropriate field. Your audio files require an administrator approval before they become visible to public.

Each video contains a brief description and a few links that allow you to perform different actions with it. You can also quickly see the rating of your videos Click "add video" link to select a video file of your choice and type in a brief description. You can select a preview for your video. This will help other
members identify what the video is about. You can also specify an optional password and give it out to only those members who you'd like to share your video with. If you are interested in getting your video rated by other members, you can easily allow it for rating by selecting an appropriate field; Your videos require an administrator approval before they become visible to public.
What is a Blog?
Blog allows you to write an online journal any time you wish. You can include a picture and accept comments for your blog entries. Click the "blog" link on the main menu to view all the blog entries created by you. Each entry contains a picture if you have included it, and a small part of your entry. You will also see "comments" and "remove" links in each entry. First one allows you to quickly review comments left by other members and second one allows you to remove your entry with all of its comments all together. When viewing comments, you can also remove those you deem unwanted or inappropriate. Click "add entry" link while in a blog, to select an optional picture to be attached, and type in an actual entry.
What is a Guestbook?
Guestbook allow other members to leave comments for you in your public profile. These could be used pretty much for any purpose you like. Click the "guestbook" link on the main menu to view all of the guestbook entries left by other members. Each entry contains a picture of its author and their comment. You will also see a " remove" link in each entry which allows you to clean up your guestbook from unwanted comments. Your guestbook entries require approval before they are shown to public. You should click on "unapproved entries" link while in guestbook. You can then approve and remove entries at your choice.
How do I manage my Messages?
Colombian Introductions has a powerful system of managing private messages. Personal messages are like emails, but instead of being sent via a real email, they are sent to a member via the internal messaging system of the website itself. Typically, personal messages are private correspondence, and they are only viewable by the sender and intended recipients without releasing any sensitive contact details. Personal messages cannot be sent by guests or to guests. Click messages" link on the main menu to lists all of your personal messages sent to you. This is your inbox as you can see from the navigation at the top, the default page loaded for personal messages. You will see a listing of your personal messages. The first column is the subject of the message. Next to the right of that is the display name of the member that sent it. The third column is for the date the personal message was sent. The final column has check boxes where you can perform check the ones you want to delete and then push the delete selected" button located under the list of messages.
If you want to view messages that you have sent, you can do so by clicking on "sent" at the top of the page next the "inbox" link. The "sent" page works exactly the same as the "inbox" except it shows messages you have sent.
How do I read my messages?
Click on anypersonal message to view the actual written message. At the bottom of the message you can reply to the message by clicking "reply". You
can report abusive personal messages to the administrator by clicking the "report" link at the bottom of the message.
What are Favorites?
Favorites allow you to save members you were interested in so that you don't lose them. This is very convenient especially when website has thousands of members. You do not need a request from other member to be able to add him or her to your favorites list. Click favorites" link on the main menu to view all of the members you have added to favorites. Each member will have a picture and a brief description. You can also see a "remove" link next to each member to easily remove those you do not need or want to be in your favorites list anymore. You can save 30 members in your favorites list.
What are Visitors?
Visitors feature allows you to quickly view members who have recently viewed your profile. This can help you get in touch with those who might be interested in you.
Click "visitors" link on the main menu to lists all of the members who have viewed your profile. Each member will have a picture and a brief description. You cannot remove visitors from the list as the system will automatically remove old ones and insert recent ones.
How do I Upgrade my membership?
Upgrading membership allows you to receive more features and higher limits within the website. Memberships can be recurring or not. Recurring memberships will require you to pay for it each time after a certain period until you cancel. Regular memberships require only a one time payment and are usually valid for a certain amount of days, weeks, months or maybe even years.
Click the "Upgrade" link on the main menu to view all of the membership packages available for you to choose from. Select a membership package you prefer and click on "continue" button. A membership confirmation page will review its details and offer you a method of payment (PayPal). As soon as the payment is made and transaction is processed, your account will be automatically upgraded to a new membership.

PayPal is a US based company that is one of the largest payment processors in the world. PayPal payments are sent without sharing financial information with the Merchant. Colombian Introductions receive payment from PayPal without ever seeing your financial information. PayPal accepts major credit cards (Visa,Master Card,American Express, E Check, Discover)
What currency is used if transaction outside of the United States?
All credit / debit card transactions are settled in United States Dollars (USD). If you are ordering from outside a United States Dollars country your card will be charged in United States Dollars and this amount converted to an equivalent amount in your local currency by your bank or card issuer. How do I search for members?
Searching feature allows you to either search or browse members and limit results with certain conditions such as country, city, interested, etc.
Click the "search" link on the main menu to lists fields available for search. You may specify if members you're searching should have a picture in their profile. You may also specify if you're only interested in seeing members who are currently online. After specifying your search criteria, click on "search" button. System will then present you with a list of members who matched your search conditions. Each member will contain a picture and a brief description. You can view any member's full profile by clicking on either his or her picture or user name.
